Wow you have been such an inspiration to me. Your music is mesmorizing, capturing so many listeners. I never got the chance to see you play, but you will always play front in center in the depths of my soul. They say in heavan the band plays your favorite song, well I can't wait to see and hear what I will never again have a chance to see here! Thanks to the Widespread Panic family for continuing to play and spread the joy of Panic music. God bless Houser's family and long live Panic. I was just listening to the first night at Oak Mountain '01 and, man, I miss The Lingering Lead. I was lucky enough to see the last shows with Mikey and the (maybe not so lucky) first show without. You're still playing in our hearts and minds!

I'm so glad I had the chance to see you play. When you and the guys played together a lot more than music came from the stage. It was something magical. The boys are playin' Mud Island in Memphis next month, which is stirring some memories from my first Panic show (H.O.R.D.E. TOUR "93). I was blown away. Mikey, I never got to see you live, but followed Panic since 1999. I dreamed of seeing you play, but never got the chance to. The sound of your guitar changed my life forever.
